Presentation of the client
The Caisse d’Epargne Rhône Alpes (CERA) is a regional bank whose activity is focussed on the needs of the residents of its territory. It is part of the BPCE Group, the second biggest banking group in France.
Tessi allowed us to achieve almost all of our aim of going paperless in the departments in the head office, including those where digitisation seemed most difficult. The collective challenge and the commitment of everybody who worked on the project, in-house and outside the company, were the key factors for the success.
In the context of the project to move its head office in Lyon—regrouping 750 employees—the CERA wanted to digitise its stock of files (1 million pages), and the management of its incoming correspondence (postal and branch mail).
Tessi implemented a powerful, local, outsourced digitisation platform. The stocks of files were digitised on the Tessi site in Lyon, and then entered into a Tessi DOCUBASE EDM solution that is accessible in hosted mode. Tessi also receives flows of incoming mail that are digitised, indexed and categorised to ensure perfect and automatic distribution to users by means of work flow, for processing in very short lead-times (H+4 hours).
- Digitisation of the company: zero paper
- Industrialisation and unique traceability for processing mail
- Securing the electronic archiving
- Reducing head office printing costs by 70%
- Saving 60% of linear metres occupied
