{"id":7779,"date":"2019-03-17T11:50:33","date_gmt":"2019-03-17T10:50:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tessi.eu\/les-10-principes-du-pacte-mondial\/"},"modified":"2023-11-21T18:51:26","modified_gmt":"2023-11-21T17:51:26","slug":"les-10-principes-du-pacte-mondial","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.tessi.eu\/en\/les-10-principes-du-pacte-mondial\/","title":{"rendered":"The Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Through the Global Compact, Tessi agrees to publish its advances in sustainable development annually and to adhere to 10 fundamental principles, based on human rights, labour and environmental standards and anti-corruption.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Human rights<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p6\">Principle 1: businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; and<\/li>\n<li class=\"p6\">Principle 2: make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p7\"><strong>Labour<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p6\">Principle 3: businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining;<\/li>\n<li class=\"p6\">Principle 4: the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour;<\/li>\n<li class=\"p6\">Principle 5: the effective abolition of child labour; and<\/li>\n<li class=\"p6\">Principle 6: the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p7\"><strong>Environment<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p6\">Principle 7: businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;<\/li>\n<li class=\"p6\">Principle 8: undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility; and<\/li>\n<li class=\"p6\">Principle 9: encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p7\"><strong>Anti-corruption<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p6\">Principle 10: businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p8\"><span class=\"s3\"><i>To learn more:<\/i>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unglobalcompact.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"s4\">www.unglobalcompact.org<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Through the Global Compact, Tessi agrees to publish its advances in sustainable development annually and to adhere to 10 fundamental principles, based on human rights, labour and environmental standards and anti-corruption.
